The Tool is the Message

A series of visuals created for DEMO Festival 2027. I developed a custom collage tool for this purpose. The application window is split into two panes: The upper pane displays the source and the lower pane the target. With the keyboard I can move around the copy area, change the source image (based on an array of pre-selected public domain images), change the size of the copy area and paint at the selected spot. Developed without AI in Processing 4. Dithered with gifsicle. 2026.
